The
International School of Choueifat - Koura opened its doors in October
1996. Set in the fresh countryside of Northern Lebanon
in the village of Fih, Al-Koura located between the sparkling Mediterranean
and the famous Cedar forests of Mount Lebanon, the school serves
as an ideal site for studying and learning. Like its sister SABIS®
schools, The International School of Choueifat - Koura is a multinational,
non-selective co-educational, independent, English medium day school
serving both the local and multinational communities for students
from the age of 3 to 18 plus years (KG to Grade 12).
English is the medium of education but Arabic and French are taught from the earliest ages,
the aim being to give students the opportunity to be proficient in the three languages.
Currently the school serves approximately 730 students.
