Grades 7 & 8 Trip to the Bekaa
The scenic and cultural splendours of Lebanon’s famed Bekaa valley formed the encompassment of grades 7 and 8 trip on May 29 and 30. The diverse and stimulating events/activities package featured such standouts as a visit to Baalbek’s imposing ruins of the world’s largest remaining ancient Roman Temple, a stroll around the AUB and Taanayel farms, and an engrossing exploration of the significant Anjar archaeological sites. If before this trip the students had been in any doubt about how beautiful their country is, such doubts were surely dispelled as they reflected on their visit to this most engaging of Lebanon’s regions.
